Hope Project
Nigeria has about 20
million out –of- school children which places her as the country with the
highest number of out -of- school children in Sub-Saharan Africa.
According to UNICEF,
Nigeria accounts for more than one in five out- of -school children anywhere in
the world. Hope Project was created to reduce these numbers and prevent
children from becoming marginalized youths.
Hope Project is an
Educational empowerment program where children from underserved communities are
enrolled into schools by being sponsored and back to school kits are given to
those that does not have.
Our main objective is that children from the underserved communities are properly enrolled into
schools and they also have the best
learning experience because we believe that without proper enrollment and Educational
resources, it will be a serious challenge for any child to effectively learn
within the four walls of classroom.
This project is in
line with Article 15 of the 2003 Child Rights Act. It recognizes access to
universal basic education.
We believe as an
organization that every child deserves the right Educational tools to have a better
learning experience beyond just being in the classroom.
The Arise Project
According to National Bureau of Statistics, we have 133
million (63%) Nigerians living in poverty. Women account for over half of this
figure living in poverty. 72% of people in the rural areas are poor in which
the most vulnerable are women.
Arise Project, is an empowerment project where Female
entrepreneurs from underserved communities go through vocational skill
trainings and loans and or tools are given to them at the end of the training
to help facilitate their small scale businesses
It’s essential that women are empowered because it does
positively affect the social development of families, communities and
countries. When women live safe, satisfied and productive lives, they can reach
their full potential, contributing to the development of the economy of their
country and can raise happier and healthier children.
With Arise Project we are providing a sustainable way for
disadvantage women to be resourceful.
We believe as an Organization that when women are lifted out of poverty, they are expected to take care of their families especially their children.
Change a Life Project
Someone once said “Putting a smile on a child’s face can
change the world, maybe not the world but at least their world” This is what this
project means to us and the children we serve.
We observed that a
lot of children in the underserved communities don’t have many opportunities to
be celebrated, feel special and have some fun activities.
The Change a Life Project is an initiative where children
from the underserved communities are being celebrated to commemorate the
children’s day which happens on the 27th of May every year.
Since the inception of this project in 2021, we have put
smiles on the faces of 600 children including women. We do this by given them
snacks, clothes, shoes, back to school kits and they also play educational
games, sports etc.
We believe that
children who are happy are more likely to be kind to others and avoid
anti-social activity. Happiness prevents children from being the kind of kids
who cause problems. It prevents tantrums, defiance and rebellious behavior. It
does also help them perform better in school.
Project BLOOM
This is Leadership
and Mentoring Boot camp for children between the ages of 5-15 years, where they
are mentored and trained in Leadership and Vocational skills.
This is a Leadership
development strategy where the children’s confidence, esteem is being built, communication
skills, entrepreneurial skills, emotional intelligence etc. is being taught.
We believe that when
children are mentored directly, it improves their self- worth, academic
performance, social and economic prospects. When children are empowered, it
brings peace, prosperity and stability to families and communities.
We want to offer an
experience where mentors provide role models and guidance that the children can
aspire to be.
We trust that when
children are mentored, they have enhanced self -esteem and confidence, there is
lower drop -out rates, healthier relationships at homes and lifestyle choices,
better attitude in school, etc.
